Who we are
Found Local, the trading name of Josh Oswald (sole trader), Suffolk, UK. Contact: josh@found-local.uk.
What we collect
Business contact details (company name, business email address, website, Google Business Profile, and the name of a director or contact where publicly listed); anything you send us in replies; and, for clients, details needed to do the work and invoice you.
Where we get it
Public sources: Companies House, your website, and your Google Business Profile.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To contact limited companies about services that may help them (legitimate interests: offering relevant services to businesses), and to deliver work and invoice clients (contract).
Marketing emails
We only send unsolicited emails to limited companies and LLPs, never to sole traders or individuals without consent. Every email tells you who we are and how to opt out. Reply "stop" and we'll add you to our do-not-contact list straight away.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except service providers we use to run the business (e.g. Google for email) and where the law requires it. We never sell data.
How long we keep it
Prospects who don't reply: deleted after 12 months. Opt-outs: kept on a suppression list so we never contact you again. Clients: 6 years after the work ends (tax records).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to us using it. Contact us at the email above. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
